Walk about in Dania Beach Boulevard

Peace of England in the sunny side of the world

When you go to a new place, it is only natural to explore your surroundings. Early morning walk avoids a big ground, and allows you to be a bit more nosey simply because people have time to talk with you more. American people are very friendly, when you walk about, you still do get the good morning from the stranger and the smile on the top of it. I found this morning that a peace of good old England is land marked it self in here with the traditional red phone box. English pub called Kings head has seen the best days, but outside is a nice combination of the traditional pub look and Miami beach style patio. In front of the pub there is also the traditional red box, with a little bit of wear and tear, but it still stands to remind people of the old good England.

Budget staying is the way to travel

Miami offers many types of accommodations, and travelling here does not have to be that expensive than people think. Most motels come with a nice standard rooms, they have little fridges in them, they have the pool and they have got the friendly atmosphere to stay in.
If you know where you want to go, it's worth of looking from the local directories the motels and then just surf the net for the prices. Motel 6 offers the affordable $42.71 per night a room with a queen size bed, roomy space, television and morning cafe. There is no cooking facilities, but there are grocery shops around from the little distance of walking and the things you need to keep in the  fridge can be kept down stairs in the big fridge. Some motels do have micro wave in the room and if you want to go posh, you can get the room with a little cooking space in it too, but that of coarse is a bit more money.
There is a public transport available and if you feel really adventurous, you can take a bus and see where the road leads.
The motel where I am staying, has a local attraction which was a surprise for me and not advertised anywhere. There is a population of local monkeys who come to eat daily from the guests. The story tells that there was a zoo for a long time ago and when it was closed down by the local council, the owner set some animals free. The monkeys are friendly and no person has ever been hurt by them, but they still are wild animals, so care should be taken when interacting with them.

The motel is also pet friendly and many guests stay here with their dogs, so if your pooch has the passport, you can take him in here.
All around the budget travelling is a good option if you don't want to splash a lot of money and in the way is more rewarding, because everything is not carried to you on the plate, so to speak, and you get to see the real face of the place.

World did not end, Christmas gone again

After we all have had our bellies full of turkey, ham and chocolate, maybe it's a good thing that we take a look what happened last year.
Preparing your self to the year to come is a part of human life, we all do it and we all think about it. We look what we could do a bit better and we hope that what ever the next year brings along, it will be the better one.

I am going to start my new Year with a huge Miami special. I will be looking into the night life, businesses and people in this sunny state of the world, and most importantly, I tell you what Miami has to offer when it comes to the music.

The weather is sunny, I stepped into the summer from the cold rain of London. I saw the airport of the worlds leading city Washington and I have to say... I expected to see huge hall with a spectacles, but saw long walks instead full of little shops, nice people on the way and soft carpet under my feet to sooth the foot ache my shoes kindly provided. I loved the relaxed atmosphere of the place and airport announcements were absolutely unique. If you ever pass that part of the world, spend the time of listening those announcements on the flight gates, there are some stars to be made in there.

First morning in Miami brought a sunshine, palm trees in front of my hotel room and friendly smiles from my temporary neighbours. It's all good and I can't wait what I will have ahead of me.

Beyonce a new face of Pepsi

We all remember Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson from the adverts of Pepsi, and now Beyonce has joined to the honoured club of multimillion deals from the soft drink company.

Allegedly she has signed $50 million deal with the drink giant and can have a very merry Christmas indeed!
Beyonce said:" Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve. As a business woman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity."

Nice one B! We will wait for the TV commercial with our noses glued into the tele screen!

Nicole will escape on Christmas with Lewis

The Brittish X Factor winner Nicole Scherzinger has planned the perfect getaway with the boyfriend Lewis Hamilton and the family at Christmas. They will spend the holidays in warm Hawaii surfing and enjoying the sunset.

" Oh that's going to be fun. I totally forgot about that. I'm going to be with my whole family in there. In Hawaii our Santa Claus wears surf shorts, it's so much fun. "

Nicole admits that she has had to sacrifice many Christmases before because of her busy schedule. I am sure that she makes the best of this one with her loved ones!

MC Sniper and Chwee Rap go Geto Christmas

As a truthful soldiers to the Hip Hop, these Korean artists have decided to release the realistic Christmas song about the down side of the life. Geto Christmas describes the life of the poorer families in Korea as we are approaching Christmas.

The lyrics have been inspired by the true stories of the people around them and despite the critics stating that the song is rebellious, the end gives a glimpse of hope for those who don't give up.

Run DMC still rules the hip hop Chrismas

Run DMC has been voted one of the best hip hop Christmas songs of all times with their cheery Christmas rap from 1987. Christmas In Hollis is still warming hearts all over the world and why not? The old school still rules......

Only few days to go.... Have you checked what is under your tree already?
